State Laughter

The axis of Cottaging/Ukiah Drag friends are some of the people i have felt most akin with in my journey thru punk music. They all had such a wide range of interests and utilized them as ways to expand what they were doing. Never defining their work by a record they liked, rather using it to brighten or darken, soften or louden. I've booked Aaron twice solo in Atlanta and both times were really special. He is a great friend, amazing screen printer, and has such a unique approach to playing acoustic guitar. As much as i love guitar in general, when someone is playing solo acoustic, especially coming from the punk world I am very hesitant. But like above as i mentioned this crew isn't defined by their references, Aaron isn't defined by an acoustic guitar. Brooding, ever evolving loops delivered with his great sense of catching you off guard with a joke, smiling, and waiting for you to catch it. Proud to carry this for my dog.
