Gottsching's first solo album billed completely separate from Ash Ra Tempel. While you see the lineage from later Ash Ra, Neu, Kraftwerk etc....you also see the DNA of early house music. One seamless hour long track. The cover is an empty chessboard and i visualize it as a parallel dance floor. some pieces static...others moving along rapidly. It's very repetitive, but with deep listening you see all the intricacies unfold. Meditative like the Pandit Pran Nath record i also just posted but from an entirely different world. Imagine plugging in to some sort of ambient sound station in a William Gibson novel that replenish's your brainwaves and keeps your wheels turning.
