State Laughter

Waxidermy classic....Music for space ventriloquists, 8 bit street hustlers, space disco for loner bedroom, one of those records that warrants no comparison. Something that fits just as much on PPU as it does Minimal Wave....once again bringing me back to my love for synthesizer really breaking down the idea of genre. By that i mean you can have some dude who was trying to sound like James Brown, but didn't have a band to play with so he did it with a synth in his bedroom and it sounds something like this. Not saying Hustler was going for James Brown...I just mean it's a cool equalizer of sorts. This record is very special and Companion did an immaculate job with it....pricey, but when you hold this in your hands you will understand why. Matte tip on gatefold sleeve. I tried to get copies of the first pressing, but it sold out before i had a chance.
