State Laughter

2nd album by Heldon...spacey electronic music led by Richard Pinhas. Just about as far left field form Yes on the prog scale as it gets. I often wonder what it was like to live in time where there your reference points in rock'n'roll couldn't go further than the Beatles or whatever local garage/beat band existed in a neighborhood near you. The primordial glaze being applied to these bacteria Cultures ravenous for life. I feel like the phrase "For The Culture" is something i hear every fucking day now. People talking about "ice cream culture", "craft beer culture" "pickled vegetable culture". In reality these are voidscapes devoid of culture. I yearn to plug into Pinhas 12" space machine and fly around listening to Heldon one day. Buy one of these and take a trip with me! (Yes i copied from my write up of the other Heldon LP, but hey writing up these little things takes some time!)
