State Laughter

From the same folks who reissued Asylum Party's "Picture One", comes a piece to the oft obscured world of Atlanta in the 80's: The Modern Mannequins. Cool minimal synth/synth pop that doesn't sound like anything else that came out of our city. Atlanta has always produced interesting things due to our southern isolation. Often to weird to be digestible to the greater music/art community. I'll take Destroy All Music, Modern Mannequins, or Nine//Underground over a bunch of generic hardcore anyway. Really stoked the homies did this as all 3 of their records are $100+. Collects all 3 records and has one unreleased track. Gatefold, printed inner sleeve, really nicely done.
