State Laughter

I listened to this on the subway the other day...(ok Atlanta doesn't really have a subway, but our glorified commuter train which is basically an uncomfortable Six Flags ride) at like 7 am listening to this album on my headphones. I was always more drawn to the first Harmonia album because i thought the cover was so much cooler. I was wrong. This is the one for me. Music for man and machinery. Fucking Germans man. They just make music that is so great for moving at high speeds. Moving at high speeds why simaltaneously sitting. Cars, trains, planes...Harmonia, Cluster, Neu!, Can, La Dusseldorf....its all driving music. But with "Deluxe" I feel like my head has shot 5000 miles through the roof of the car/train, through the clouds, into space, orbiting around our home, observing the suns light refracting through the clouds, falling back down to earth, moving and not moving. I keep going back to the sense of moving and not moving. Music that ignores time and space interests me. Music that fills any dimension its pumped into. Timeless music. Spaceless music. Spacefull music, timefull music.
