This is desert island music for me. Records I have been listening to for close to 2 decades now. If you needed 5 LP's to understand what krautrock was, this (or any of the first 3 Neu! Lp's) would be one of them. Beautiful anthems for the autobahn but also fit for the Eisenhower Interstate System. There would be now Stereolab without those drums. No Negativland without that Negativland. The Germans really rethought rock music in a way that was unparalleled in the 70's.
