Coil's final breath. A band I've obsessed over. The were always ahead of even themselves. Uncomparable in the same way i view Shadow Ring. Truly a band so immersed in their own lives and the sublimation into their art, so tightly wound together that nothing else could get in. Ape Of Naples is like a beautiful funeral procession for Balance....watching his hologram walk down the aisle step into his casket and lower him into the ground. Any place is good to start with Coil, but sometimes the end is the perfect beginning.
