State Laughter

Was lucky to blind buy this in my youth from Low Yo Yo in Athens, Georgia. Todd from Low Yo Yo is a special kind of record freak. Low Yo Yo is a place where you could go and ask for some shit that you made up and Todd would actually have it. Copped this when i was in college from the electronic/modern classical section for a very fair price (maybe fairer than the price of this reissue)...anyways wasted many a day drinking 40s. laying in the sun vining out to this one....probably not what Mr. Behrman intended, but hey once we put it out there is it really ours anymore? Anyway this is David's first album, from 1977 and both pieces are for electronics, A-side including woodwinds and B-side cello. They are modulated by a program called Kim-1 that would change the time intervals between chord changes. yada yada bleep bloop. Beautiful pieces. Thank Jah for Lovely finally reissuing this stuff on vinyl...please do Automatic Writing for christ sake.
