Repress of this important document of early electronic music from Niger, Africa. Recorded in 1978. I can't even imagine what it was like playing music in Africa like this at that time. Very minimal and honestly probably makes more sense in the context of traditional African folk song...ie if you are expecting Stockhausen look elsewhere. But important in the sense of folk and pop music looking to the future and incorporating non traditional sounds into their repertoire.
