Pure shimmering long metal string drone. It's simple, but perfect. Like eating from a garden, italian cheese brought over a a boat big enough only for a 5 year old boy, shaq breaking a backboard with a dunk. Fullman's performance is simply long metal strings stretched across a large space that are played by running rosined hands across them. While solo recordings like "In The Sea" are beautiful terrestrial excursions, "Work for Four Players and 90 Strings" are alien landscapes that i can't even imagine what would be like in the room they were created. I don't know why, but a good slice of fuckign cheese pizza is what keeps coming to mind. Pure tomato and cheese and flour....pure fucking sonic metal tone slicing time into a million pieces. Gorgeous melting slice of drone.
