1997 album by Brotha Lynch Hung brought to you by industry leader Sic Records. Classic dark rap from Sacramento. "Die 1 by 1" is atmospheric as fuck...definitely unhinged. Raps are given space to breathe. You are tied up anyways, so not like BLH is in a hurry. You ain't goin nowhere. Next track clocks in at 7 minutes...you still ain't goin nowhere. Lots of interesting sounds on this album. Like you are trapped inside a house that is consuming you. Floorboards creak/stomaches gurgle. Coughing....whats is inside and what is outside....throbbing synths....bass lines that crawl up your leg slimy. It's such a subdued record. Like a coiled snake. Dangerous....even more dangerous in its choice of camoflouge. You might walk by and miss it if you aren't listening. This isn't your standard g-funk. This isn't just some convenient store mixtape a German dude is going to buy for $500 so he can bootleg it ("please do not send mp3z to any1...thank u"). Great record. And Ice-T is on it, so game over.
