State Laughter

Daniel Hecht's first LP form 1973. I've had and loved the second (1977) for a long time. Another one Waxidermy turned me onto back in the day. Beautiful solo acoustic guitar written while he was working on a rural Wisconsonian commune. Hecht had befriended Moondog who encouraged him to record and release some of his own recordings. Eventually landing in the hands of John Fahey who later helped him sign to Windham Hill, who would release some of his later albums.
